Housing is available from Friday, May 30, at 10 a.m. until Saturday, July 26, at noon. No exceptions can be made to these check-in and check-out dates. There are three lease options for summer housing. Please read each description carefully and choose the one that most closely suits your needs.
All housing is offered on a first come, first served basis, and no guarantee of housing is made for requests received after May 22, 2008.
Chalberg Apartments are located between the academic buildings and the seminary, and are within walking distance of the buildings where classes are held. There are four, three-bedroom apartments which are air conditioned, furnished, and have kitchens; however, you will need to supply your own kitchen accessories, including plates, cups, silverware, dishtowels, dishsoap, pots and pans, or other cooking utensils.
Cost: $375 for a one-month lease, or $700 for a two-month lease (this is a $50 discount for signing up for a two month lease).
Daily Rate: $14 a night.
June Lease: Check in after 10 a.m. on May 30. Check out by noon on June 30.
July Lease: Check in after 10 a.m. on July 1. Check out by noon on July 26.
Two-Month Lease: Check in after 10 a.m. on May 30. Check out by noon on July 26.

When you arrive on campus, please enter the main academic buildings through the Community Life Center/Benson Great Hall and follow the large signs to the Summer Conference Office. Office hours are being set based on arrival information on your registration form. If you will be arriving on campus at a time/date other than listed on your form, contact the housing office to make special arrangements at least 24 hours before your arrival.
All rooms will be supplied with a blanket, pillow, and mattress pad. Linen packs may be requested at a cost of $10 per pack. Linen packs include two flat sheets, two small bath towels, a washcloth and a pillowcase. You must either bring your own linens or use a Bethel linen pack. If you choose to bring your own linens, please be aware that all beds are extra long twin beds (a regular size twin fitted sheet will not fit on the bed).
Laundry facilities are available in Danielson Hall and in Arden Village West, Building I. The charge for washing and drying is $0.75 each. The machines are card operated, and cards are available for check out with a $5 cash deposit from the Summer Conference Office. Card activation machines are located on the second floor of the Hagstrom Student Services Center Building (HC Building). These machines will accept $1, $5, $10, or $20 bills, but will not give change. Keep in mind that when returning the card for retrieval of deposit, refunds will not be given for unused monies on the card.
Plan to bring your own food for the majority of your meals. Chalberg Apartments are furnished with a refrigerator and stove but you will need to supply your own kitchen accessories
including plates, cups, silverware, dishtowels, dishsoap, pots and
pans, or other cooking utensils. Several grocery stores, including SuperTarget and Cub, are in the area for your convenience.
The Bethel Dining Center and Market Square deli on campus will have limited hours based on campus activity. Feel free to take advantage of these facilities during open hours. Check signs outside each facility for daily hours.
Once you have removed all of your items from your housing unit, please come to the Summer Conference Office to check out. Office hours are being set based on departure information on your registration form. If you will be departing campus at a time/date other than listed on your form, special arrangements must be made at least 24 hours before your departure.

The library computer lab is located on the main floor of the library near the Reference Desk which offers more than 50 computers (wireless is available). Laptops are also available for use in the library, as well as DVD/CD players, flash drives, and headsets.
There are also computers in the music department, which will be available for specified classes.
To get from the airport to Bethel in a shared ride van, call Super Shuttle at 612.827.7777 or visit their website at http://www.supershuttle.com. Contact Super Shuttle for current pricing. Reservations need to be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Fire, Police or Health Emergency: Dial 9 for an outside line, then 911. If 9-911 is called, you must call security at ext. 6055 so that someone can meet the emergency vehicle and assist them to the correct location on campus.

Tornado Shelter: The Tornado Shelter is located on the lowest level of all college buildings.
