At Bethel University, our Doctor of Education program prepares professionals for the rigor and challenges of leading in K-12 or higher education administration.
No matter their focus, students build skills ranging from curriculum design and technology to strategic planning and legal issues—all with a solid grounding in ethics.
Choose from 2 program options:
- K-12 Leadership. For aspiring leaders in K-12 schools looking to earn their principal, superintendent, or director of special education license.
- Higher Education Leadership. For college or university professionals who want to serve in a variety of higher education leadership roles.
Through our convenient program format designed for working professionals, classes are held primarily online over 3 years, with a 2-week residency on the Bethel campus each July.
In each course, our professors teach from a Christian perspective that encourages students to move beyond developing administrative skills into personal growth. As they progress, students become community leaders grounded in authenticity, honesty, and compassion. It’s a journey that defines what it means to be a public intellectual—leading from a personal faith and set of convictions.
